2024 Round-Up: Highlights from Trojan
16.12.2024
As we approach the end of 2024, it’s the perfect time to reflect on an incredible year at Trojan. From major milestones and exciting new developments to industry recognition, it’s been a year of growth and success. Let’s look back at some of our highlights…
Trojan Expands with Traymate Investment
A significant milestone for Trojan this year has been the expansion and integration of Traymate Products Ltd into our operations. This investment into our manufacturing portfolio allows us to include specialised design-led shower trays within our product range, keeping pace with evolving industry demands.
Following Traymate’s relocation from Essex to a state-of-the-art 46,000-square-foot facility in Longwood, Huddersfield, in May 2023, the business was fully absorbed into Trojan in January this year. We’ve made a £750,000 investment into advanced equipment, creating 26 new jobs and further strengthening our focus on quality and efficiency.
David Mosley, Managing Director of Trojan: “Our commitment to reinvestment and innovation ensures we are delivering the best of British craftsmanship to customers worldwide. As we approach our 50th year, the integration and expansion of Traymate marks a pivotal chapter in Trojan’s legacy of excellence.”
Launching Our New Website
We were thrilled to unveil our brand-new website in November, designed with you, our customer, in mind. The updated site is streamlined, user-friendly, and packed with helpful resources to make navigating our products and services easier than ever.
Early feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with an uptick in traffic and improved customer engagement metrics. This redesign underscores our commitment to innovation and delivering exceptional customer service.

Manufacturing Milestones
As one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of acrylic baths, Trojan Baths achieved continued growth in 2024.
To meet customer demand, we have manufactured over 200,000 high-quality acrylic baths since January – showing our flexibility in meeting customers’ demands. Our shower tray demand has increased over the last quarter, and we hope to grow on this in 2025. We’re proud to say that our manufacturing capacity remains flexible and with spare capacity we can meet customer demands both in the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Recognition in the Kirklees Top 100 Companies
Trojan was once again recognised as one of the Kirklees Top 100 Companies – for the fifth year in a row!
We were proud to be ranked in the top 20, taking spot number 19 and believe the result highlights our dedication to reinvestment, manufacturing excellence and sustainability initiatives.
This year, we proudly reduced landfill waste by 400 tonnes annually through our patented recycling process, Future Polymers. We also took significant steps toward carbon neutrality by leveraging renewable energy sources, including our 500KW solar PV system.
Award Nominations
In November, we were honoured to be shortlisted for two prestigious awards:
We had a great time in Leeds at both the Headingley Stadium and the Royal Armouries Museum over these two evenings of celebration. These nominations reflect the dedication, innovation, and teamwork that drive Trojan’s success in the bathroom manufacturing industry.
Media Features and Recognition
Trojan was proud to be featured in multiple media outlets, further establishing our position as an industry leader. From coverage in Manufacturing Today to Insider’s Family Business roundtable and features in local and regional media, we’ve been excited to share our story with a wider audience and highlight our achievements in the bathroom manufacturing sector.
Celebrating Our People
Our team is the heart of Trojan. This year, we celebrated long-service milestones, welcomed new talent, and recognised the incredible contributions of every team member. Their dedication and expertise continue to drive our success, making 2024 a truly memorable year. Our team swapped their tools for bowling shoes and hit the bowling lanes for a festive Christmas do.
Christmas Visits 2024
This December, Trojan embraced the festive spirit by visiting some of our customers to share our gratitude for their continued support throughout the year. David Mosley and Kieron O Grady delivered Christmas treats bringing a touch of holiday cheer while covering an impressive 1200 miles across the country.
These visits were a great opportunity to strengthen relationships and reflect on 2024 as we look forward to a better 2025. We’re incredibly grateful for the friendships we have with our customers and we look forward to continuing our journey together in 2025.
Looking Ahead to 2025
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re more committed than ever to innovation, growth, and delivering the exceptional quality our customers expect. Firm Mills will see continued capital expenditure in the shower tray line as we set out to increase our capacity and further improve processes.
2025 will also mark Trojan’s 50th anniversary – half a century of excellence in bath manufacturing.
We’re planning a year filled with exciting activities, celebrations, and initiatives to celebrate our humble beginnings in 1975, looking back to when MD David’s father Maurice Mosley founded the company, to our position as one of Europe’s largest acrylic bath manufacturers today.
Stay tuned for more exciting developments and details about our 50th-anniversary celebrations—we can’t wait to share what’s next!
