Trojan is proud to feature in the latest Kirklees Top 100 Companies – for the fifth year in a row!

Highlighting the strength of Kirklees as a hub for business growth and investment, Kirklees Top 100 is not just a testament to our growth, but also a reflection of the vibrant business community within Kirklees.

Now in its fifth year, the Kirklees Top 100 Companies initiative, a joint venture between the University of Huddersfield, Kirklees Council, and the 3M Buckley Innovation Centre, celebrates the businesses that contribute to our region’s economic landscape.

Compiled by Huddersfield Business School, the list ranks businesses based on key metrics including turnover, profit, employee numbers, and growth. Trojan has proudly been a part of this prestigious list since its inception, a mark of our continued success and commitment to excellence.

Our inclusion in the Kirklees Top 100 Companies reflects the loyalty of our customers, the dedication of our long-serving team, and our ongoing commitment to reinvestment. We believe that maintaining strong relationships with our suppliers and continually investing in our people, equipment, and processes will ensure Trojan remains in the Kirklees Top 100 for years to come.

This past year has been pivotal for Trojan. Our acquisition of Traymate in January 2024, a strategic £2.85 million investment, allowed us to expand our operations and relocate the business to a state-of-the-art, 46,000-square-foot facility near our headquarters in the Colne Valley, Huddersfield. This move not only created 26 new jobs but also bolstered our shower tray manufacturing capabilities, ensuring we continue to meet market demand with high-quality, British-made products.

In recent years, we have invested heavily in our manufacturing capabilities, people, and green initiatives. We’re proud of our patented recycling process, Future Polymers, which has reduced our landfill waste by approximately 400 tonnes per year, and our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint by using local suppliers and renewable energy sources like our 500KW solar PV system.

As we look to the future, Trojan will continue to focus on growth, sustainability, and delivering high-quality products to our customers. We are proud of our heritage in Huddersfield and our role in the local economy, and we remain committed to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in manufacturing.
