CUSTOMER SPOTLIGHT – CLAYGATE DISTRIBUTION: 35 YEARS OF TRUSTED PARTNERSHIP

In this new blog series, we will be sitting down with some of our customers to gain insight into their experience of working with Trojan, as they share their expertise within the bathroom industry.
In this blog, our MD David Mosley spoke with Claygate Distribution to find out more about their focuses for 2026, what they value about Trojan as a supplier, and what innovations they would like to see in the bathroom market in the year ahead.
1. Tell us a bit about your business and what you specialise in
Claygate Distribution is a UK trade-only distributor specialising in bathroom and plumbing products. Established in 1990, we supply a wide range of bathrooms, furniture, brassware, showers and accessories to merchants and trade customers across England and Wales. We work with leading brands as well as exclusive ranges, focusing on quality products, strong availability and reliable service.
2. What regions or types of customers do you primarily serve?
We supply merchants and retailers throughout the south of England and Wales, including the Isle of Wight and all the way down to Cornwall. We currently go north as far as the counties of Nottingham, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.
3. How long have you been working with Trojan?
We have been working with Trojan from the early days, when we were first established in 1990.
4. Which of Trojan’s products do you stock?
We stock a selection of standard baths and bath panels, luxury baths and trays. Although not stocked yet, part of our future focus will definitely be Trojan’s Bathe Easy baths.

5. Have you noticed any standout features or benefits that support your customers?
Yes. The Bathe Easy bath range stands out as it continues to drive strong sales growth. The extensive product selection allows our customers to meet a wide variety of end-user needs, ensuring the right features are available for most requirements and short lead times support our customer service expectations.
The standard baths we stock are made in Britain, which gives customers added confidence in quality and reliability.

6. What do you value most about Trojan as a supplier?
We value Trojan’s long-standing reliability, consistent product quality and the strong working relationship we’ve built over many years. Their dependable service, trusted manufacturing standards and ability to support our customers with confidence make them a valued supplier partner.
7. Are there any features, styles or innovations you’d like to see from Trojan in the future?
Trojan already offers a strong and well-considered product range. Looking ahead, continued development around modern designs, practical features that support ease of installation, and options that help meet evolving customer needs would always be welcomed. We would also value ongoing innovation that supports efficiency and sustainability.
8. Do you have any exciting business plans over the next six months that you would like to highlight?
We plan to work with Trojan on developing our selection of free-standing baths. Watch this space for more updates later this year!
